Sail Rock is the premier dive site in the Gulf of Thailand and the crown jewel of BADA's tour lineup. A massive granite pinnacle rises from the ocean floor to break the surface, creating an underwater cathedral of marine life. The rock attracts everything from huge schools of barracuda and batfish to the occasional whale shark during season (March to June and September to November). For experienced freedivers, this is the site that makes people come back to Koh Samui again and again. The famous Chimney, a vertical swim through running 18 meters from top to bottom, is an experience you will not find anywhere else in the region.
